Saratoga Springs is a busy place in October and rooms go early. There will likely not be a room block, so please book your stay as soon as you can. We've listed a few favorites.

Dinner is served family style, so there's no meal choice to make. The table will have vegetarian, meat, and pescatarian dishes. Our spread does include red meat and shellfish, so note any allergies next to each name and we'll take good care of you.

Ceremony and reception are both on site. Most hotels are within walking distance, and there is parking available, but we expect most guests will walk.

Best food in town, in Charlie's opinion: the Doughboy from Esperanto. Putnam Market for a sandwich (the High Rock is killer). Druthers is good, if a little overrated. A little farther out, the Olde Bryan Inn, with historic ties to the town. In need of a sweet treat? Charlie recommends a milkshake from Stewart's (yes, the gas station).
Mrs. London's on Broadway for pastries that justify the line, Uncommon Grounds for bagels and a big coffee (Charlie's favorite hangout), and Kru for the espresso people. Good people-watching at all three.
Stroll Congress Park and taste the mineral springs, browse the shops on Broadway, wander the Yaddo gardens, or book a soak at the Roosevelt Baths in Saratoga Spa State Park.
Saratoga National Historical Park, a turning point of the Revolution, sits a short drive out for the curious.
Caroline Street is rambunctious and fun, and the whole strip is worth a wander. Start at Tin & Lint, the dive at the top of the street where Don McLean (allegedly) started writing American Pie in a back booth. For something quieter, 9 Maple Avenue is a tiny jazz and whisky bar that likes an older crowd, and The Wine Bar on Broadway has a lounge where you can still smoke a cigar.
Compton's Restaurant is the move. Mandy recommends the corned beef hash from her first hometown date with Charlie, and Charlie recommends anything drenched in syrup. Country Corner Cafe is a solid, similar backup.
This is a very busy time in Saratoga Springs. Please book your stay early. We will likely not have a room block.
Albany International Airport (ALB) is the closest airport, about 30 miles south of Saratoga Springs. It's an easy 35 to 45 minute ride up the Northway, and once you're downtown you won't need a car.

Black tie optional. Tuxedos are not required for the men. We are planning an outdoor ceremony, so a layer and a block heel are likely a good idea.
Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outdoors, with the reception inside the Canfield Casino. If the weather turns, the ceremony simply moves indoors, so there's a comfortable plan either way and no need to watch the forecast.
Mid-October in Saratoga is crisp and golden, typically 60s by day and 40s after dark. A wrap or jacket for the evening is a good idea.
We've reserved seats for the guests named on your invitation. If your invite includes a guest or your little ones, we'd love to have them. Reach out if you have any questions about your party.
Downtown Saratoga Springs is walkable and full of great options, and we've listed a few favorites in the Saratoga section above. There is no room block at this time, so please book as soon as you can. Saratoga is always a busy place, and the good rooms go early.
There's parking around Congress Park and nearby lots downtown, and valet will be available at the venue. Most hotels are an easy walk, so there's no shuttle. Everything is within strolling distance.
Please plan to arrive between 4:00 and 4:15 so everyone is seated for the 4:30 ceremony.
