The setting

The Canfield Casino

1 East Congress Street · Saratoga Springs, NY

Built in 1870 and tucked into the gardens of Congress Park, the Canfield Casino is pure Gilded-Age Saratoga: soaring ceilings, stained glass, original parquet floors, and chandeliers made for candlelight.

Ceremony and reception are both on site, with the park's fountains and autumn color just beyond the doors, exactly as you see it painted here.

Congress Park

Right outside the ballroom: mineral springs, a historic carousel, fountains, and shaded paths dressed in fall color.

A walkable main street of terrific restaurants, cafes, and boutiques. Saratoga eats far above its size, so come hungry.

The famous fizzy waters that named the town. Wander the geysers and pavilions of Saratoga Spa State Park.

The Racecourse

Saratoga's storied thoroughbred track and the National Museum of Racing are a lovely stroll from downtown.

Spa & Springs

Book a treatment at the historic Roosevelt Baths, or just soak in the slow, restorative pace of the Spa City.

A Bit of History

Saratoga National Historical Park, a turning point of the Revolution, sits a short drive out for the curious.

Questions & Answers

When should I RSVP by?

Kindly reply by September 9, 2027 using the RSVP form on this page. The sooner we hear from you, the easier our planning, so don't be shy.

What's the dress code?

Semi-formal, or black tie optional if you'd like to dress up. Think cocktail attire in warm autumn tones. Part of the evening spills into Congress Park, so ladies may want a block heel for the grass and everyone should bring a layer.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Both the ceremony and reception are indoors at the Canfield Casino. Weather permitting, cocktail hour moves out into the park. There's a comfortable rain plan either way, so no need to watch the forecast.

What will the weather be like?

Mid-October in Saratoga is crisp and golden, typically 60s by day and 40s after dark. A wrap or jacket for the evening is a good idea.

Can I bring a plus-one or my kids?

We've reserved seats for the guests named on your invitation. If your invite includes a guest or your little ones, we'd love to have them. Reach out if you have any questions about your party.

Where should I stay, and is there a room block?

Downtown Saratoga Springs is walkable and full of great options. We've listed a few favorites in the Saratoga section above. Room block details coming soon. Check back closer to the date.

Is there parking or a shuttle?

There's parking around Congress Park and nearby lots downtown. If you're staying in town, most hotels are an easy walk. Shuttle details TBD and will be added here if arranged.

What time should I arrive?

Please plan to arrive by 3:45 so everyone is seated for the 4:00 ceremony. Latecomers may be asked to wait for a break to be seated.

I have a dietary restriction. What do I do?

Just note it in the message box on your RSVP and we'll take care of the rest. We want everyone well fed and happy.

Who can I contact with questions?

Reach out any time at mandy.and.charlie@example.com and we'll get right back to you.

Kindly reply Will you join us?

RSVP

We'd be so happy to have you there. Please respond by the ninth of September.

Dinner is served family style, so there's no meal choice to make. The table will have vegetarian, meat, and pescatarian dishes, so there's something for everyone. Our spread does include red meat and shellfish, so if you have an allergy or restriction, just note it above and we'll take good care of you.

Thank you!
